The knight squads in Platonis are generally called "fighters". They are composed of various classes of people from the underprivileged and the nobles. Everyone who is intelligent and strong is qualified to join the group.
Fighters, all of whom are tall, masculine, and handsome, are trained in battle and magic. They are not only good at fighting but accumulate enough knowledge about various fields such as philosophy, politics, history, and magic. Therefore, lots of the nobles in Platonis are joining the group. They are the key power group controlling Platonis, whose prestige can't be damaged even by the king.
The knight squad was first established by Zarkarias Larson in A.C. 593. Originally, warriors couldn't use magic, solely relying on physical strength. At that time, they were involved in the third Tartanos war (the Coellis sect calls it "The Militis War"), during which the Macuapel sect threatened the Coellis sect by mobilizing its strong warriors. Magicians couldn't respond to their fast attacks and got killed. Even Savages couldn't defeat them. Even their joint attacks were not that successful because they were not fully trained.

The warrior group of the Larson family could use magic to defeat enemies. Later, they formally established the Knight Squad in Platonis, becoming the first fighters.
In order to pay tribute to Larson, the first fighter and founder of the Knight Squad, they carved the initial, ZL into their armors and weapons. Since then, fighters have become the most powerful group for long, playing a pivotal role in the sect. In response, the Macuapel sect trained Dark Knights, who haven't been seen since the Tartanos war was over. The fighters in Platonis, as reinforcements, recently defeated the Sidus' warriors invading Fan, even though knights in Fan also fought very well. They made joint attacks against the Sidus' warriors, leading knights in Fan to fight the enemies more courageously.

Fighters have faith in Coellis, trying their best to avoid unnecessary battle but risking their lives in order to fulfill their duties. They can handle most weapons but are especially good at swordsmanship. They have a great attacking power, maximizing fighting strength by using MP-based skills. Furthermore, fighters have strong leadership and skills that can affect the whole party, showing their strength in group battle. However, their training is beyond imagination and they have to spend much time sharpening their skills to become great fighters. The fighter group is well organized, having a long history. They belong to various classes, according to their achievement and capability.

Now, due to the war with Sidus, most fighters are leaving to support other cities that don't have enough military power. They are fighting the evil to fulfill their divine duties for Coellis, taking risks in order to revive the past glory.

Do more damage to enemies by casting spells on weapons   The attack attribute is normal magic damage, which is not affected by the resistance and defensive power of enemies.   2
Let you or your party regain strength.   Fighters on the battlefield often learn recovery magic. This magic can help the party fully regain strength but the degree of recovery depends on the fighter's capability.   5
Life UP   Increase the maximum of life power at a consistent rate.   In order to survive the war, fighters created a life-up skill by using Mana. If this skill is used with Minor Healing, it can greatly enhance the % of fighters' survival.   8
Holy Armor   Increase your or your party members' defensive power.   The use of Holy Armor can increase the defensive power of both a fighter and his party. This is good for party play with Valkyrie and Magicians who are weak in defense.   13
Return damage   When you are attacked, you can return part of it to the enemy. During the effective period of time, you can return the damage to all of your enemies. This can be applied to party members.   15
Brave   Increase the offensive power of fighters permanently   This passive skill increases the offensive power of aggressive and brave fighters.   20
Shock Wave   Attack far-away enemies on the straight line   Shock Wave is a skill for attacking enemies on the straight line at once by using sword energy. Because it covers a wide area, it is effective in attacking enemies gathering around a place.   25
Critical Blow   Increase the % of successful critical hit and cause more damage to enemies.   Critical hit is stronger than general attacks. The higher the % of success is, the more the critical hit is used. Critical blow not only increases the % of successful critical hit but also gives more damage to enemies when the critical hit is successful   30
Encourage   Increase your or your party's offensive power.   A fighter, as a party leader, increases the offensive power by raising the morale of party members. This skill is effective for a certain period of time. When party members use another skill for offensive power building-up, the more powerful offense is applied.   45
Call Kratu   Call Kratu, an ancient warrior, to fight together.   Kratus are known to be the ancestors of fighters who were active in the Tartanos One Thousand Years' War.
